I want the properties that the carousel photos occupy on a page much smaller. Is there a button to press/unpress to make this happen with ease.

    Example: https://walnutgroverotary.org/

On the home page, the photos are displaying huge. The entire width. I do not have any large size jpg's. How can this carousel take up like a third size of the page or even a 1/2 size.

    Thanks,
    Barb

    Hi Barb,

The carousel will always use all of the space it can, expanding horizontally and vertically into the section it is placed. If you add a carousel in a full width, or document width section, it will work as you're seeing on your site now.

If you want the carousel to be smaller, the easiest thing to do is put it in a more constrained area, such as the center middle column in a three column layout. Looking at your page, you already have a carousel in a place like that, so if you moved the new carousel above or below it, it would take up less overall space.

It may be possible with custom coding to force the widget to another size, but that is outside the scope of our support, and may cause problems in mobile views.

Thank you very much Zach. No custom coding here....I barely can remember what existing buttons to press. I understand your explanation, just have to figure out how to execute. Then again, the big photos are getting a great response. LOLOLOLOL Maybe, I'll leave it.
    Happy New Year!

Barb, I just reviewed your auction carousel. For what it is worth, I would strongly recommend making all of your pictures the same size, especially in their vertical size. When the vertical size changes everything else hops up or down with the change in size. On top of that some pictures are so big they are larger than the screen size so part of the picture cannot be seen without scrolling it which you do not have time to do. In my opinion, it detracts from the site esthetic.
