Limiting registrations in Event Planner

    Is there a way to limit the number of registrations in Event Planner? If not, I realize it can be done in MyEventRunner. If double registrations are allowed, then does the set registration limit take that into account? For example, if my event is limited to 100 people and double registrations are allowed, should I set my registration limit to 100 or 50?

    Hi Lisa,

    I do apologize that we had not addressed your question sooner.

    Event Planner itself does not support limited registrations, though I will make sure to add your feedback for this feature request.

    Because MyEventRunner supports packages that cover 2 people, it would depend on the package configuration itself. If your package only covers 1 person, and you enable double registration, they would need 2 spots in that package available to complete their registration.
    With the above, that you've set your package to only cover 1, you would want 100 total spots.

    I would not advise creating a package that covers 2 people for your case. This is because anyone registering can only select it when they have two people, so you would need two packages, and you'd have to balance the inventory between two packages.
