Reclassify Custom Widgets

Hi David,

Its not possible at this time to move the custom widgets between being global and page specific, though I will make sure we capture this feedback to be reviewed for future updates. I believe the best method would be to do a copy and paste from source mode, so you could copy all of the contents directly into a new widget. Just to be specific for how to do this:

1. Navigate into the Website Designer, and go to the page that you want to switch the widgets on.
   
2. If the widget is not already on the page, drag it onto the page and place it in a location
3. Once the widget is on the page, hover over the widget and click on the box icon with the arrow that points out of it.
4. Now you are in the full editor mode, and can click the source button
5. From here, highlight all of the text in the textbox, and copy it
6. You can either save the widget, or cancel it to get back to the live designer
7. On the Live Designer again, drag your new widget from the correct type place it onto the page
8. Hover over it and click the box with the outbound arrow again.
9. Click on source mode, and paste the raw html

You should be able to repeat this as required to migrate widgets between the types. I would suggest only using the Global widgets for content that should be shared between multiple pages, and keeping content specific to the page within a page specific widget. That way someone doesn't try to re-use a widget that is intended for a specific page, and modify its content. While its a benefit that they will update in all pages, it can also be bad if the person working on the widget doesn't realize its also available on other pages.
