Payments in financials

I have now found the answer. Payment or credit can be recorded by opening the Members page and goin to finances. The outstanding amount is shown and payment can be added.

I'm very glad you were able to get this sorted on your own, but also want to provide some extra assistance for anyone else in the future.

Yes, as you observed an administrator can go into a members profile, and using the financials tab see outstanding invoices.



Clicking onto the action drop down will give us options:

• View - popup opens to view the basic details
• Email Invoice - popup opens to allow you to send the invoice directly to the recipient
• Pay as Admin - Opens a new page to allow you to manually enter credit card details
• Pay Online - Opens the new page for end users to view and pay the invoice. This is a link that can be shared with the individual who will pay
• Log Transaction - Opens a popup to record external payment details.

You can also access all invoices through the Financials' Menu using the Invoices option. Like the individual member page, the same option drop down is available here.

I hope this helps anyone else looking to record or make payments on behalf of users.
