Committee emails and link tracking

    Hi ClubRunner team! I have been testing out some things and have discovered (I think) that the link tracking for committee module emails only works if the document being linked to is in the main "Documents" library. However many times I want to send committee-only documents to committee members and tried to link them from the committee documents folder (where they are held, just for committee use) but the only link available in the drop-down list is to the main "Documents" library (unless I'm missing something or doing something wrong). Now I realize that I have been a heavy committee user thanks to having subscribed to the Enhanced Committee Module in the legacy version, but now that the enhanced committee functions are going to be available to all as part of NOVA, is there any chance you could add to the "to do" list for NOVA enhancements the ability to link to documents in any committee "Documents" folder versus just the top-level "Documents" library?? So that link tracking could be done from there eventually?? It would be really helpful...thanks!

    Hi Dianne,

    Let me do my best to help address your questions.
    Any link within an email, that is not a shortened like through something like bit.ly, should be tracked. Be it a link to google.com, a clubrunner page, or any external website. In testing we were able to copy the committee module document links, and send them in the email and they were tracked. If you're not seeing this, please let us know.

    We will be looking into improving the committees module in future Nova updates, and can look into bringing the committees documents into the email editor. But this won't be something happening in the shorter term. I did share your feedback with the team as well on this matter.
