I like the experience using the new designer, although at times the response time seems slow. I have not yet looked at the Home Page Designer, rather I have tested the Custom Page process.

A couple of comments/questions at this stage:

    1. I see that it is possible to edit each widget by selecting the ‘Edit Widget’ button to the left of the settings button in the top right corner of the widget when you hover over it. If you do so, the editing is done in the traditional editor where it is possible to:

    a. Edit the Source Code – this ‘omission’ has been raised previously;
    b. Use the Format removal button – to get rid of stray formatting
    c. Use the ‘Justify’ button to format text - especially useful on for home page stories using columns

    2. Layout – is it possible to have templates incorporating 3 and 2 equal text columns

Thanks Les. That's useful information. I have used the Customize Widget feature in that location but not the Edit Widget. It would be better to have the "source" button with the other formatting features.. but this will help when I need it.

Thanks for responding! I've added the beta package to your account. Next time you login, and access the website designer or email section, you'll see the Website Beta tab.

    Hello Carol,

Thank you for your request. I have turned the Website Live Designer function 'ON' at your Club website, just use the prior instructions to login to your Club website and access it. Or, so you have a quick reference here:

    1. Login to your Club website Administration page
    2. Along the top gray tabs click "Website" -> "Website Designer"
    3. Now along the top gray tabs click "New Website (Beta)" -> "Home Page Designer"

Note: after review I see your Club is using an older website theme, this is not compatible with our new Website Live Designer. You will first need to update to a 'next gen' website theme for your Club website:

    https://www.clubrunnersupport.com/article/1409-video-nextgen-website-theme-upgrade

Once your Club website is on a next gen theme you will be able to fully use the new Website Live Designer.

Should you have more questions don't hesitate to contact us.

Another thought about the Beta Website Designer.
I often feel as though I am stumbling around and being switched between old and new versions, so navigating and finding a page I've previously seen is tricky.

My suggestion is to rename the submenu item "Welcome" to "Page Designer", as that is what it leads to.
Took me a while to find - once I've been working on something for a while I am unlikely to click on "Welcome".
    thanks
