Club Organization Structure Widget

Hi Jim,

This covers the Club's President, Directors, Executives, and Committees. Can you take a look and let us know what you think?

The member's information that shows will depend on if you're logged in or logged out.

 

That's a BIG step forward Zach and immediately useful.. It's very different from the existing Executive and Directors widget which we have long used. I don't see it as an existing preformed widget so I assume it must be a custom page. Is there a link to it somewhere? I've missed it.

I am really looking for the "Org Chart" approach that district uses. The photo view would be a nice to have but even in the list view what we want is the Directors with assigned committees under then so there is a sense of the structure for the club. Who the chairs report to. Have all the committees listed is helpful but they need to be grouped by Director. The information exists in committee management so the report should be able to build from it.

This is just a built in page to ClubRunner, so it cannot be customized heavily at this time.

Thank you for the feedback on the page, I'll pass it over to our Product team for their review. I believe revamping and improving both the Club Executives & District Org charts are on our radar for an update for better mobile compatibility as well.

 

Ah. OK. Thanks. I'll implement it as is on our site and look forward to improvements in formatting.

It seems that the Club Executives page only shows annual committees. not Standing Committees. Is it possible to add Standing Committees to the Club Executives page, or another suitable/new page?

 

That is good feedback. We can look into adding standing committees to the page as well. I'll make sure the product team sees your request

 

Any word on this feature Zach? I'd really like an improved look to the "Org Chart" for our executive and committees as we head into planning for the next Rotary Year.

Hi Jim,

I apologize for the delayed follow-up. I don't have any major news about any updates to this page yet. We're working on retiring all of our legacy themes for ClubRunner and we're getting close to completing this project. Once it is done many areas in ClubRunner will be easier for us to update and revamp for better mobile comparability!

Can someone tell me how/if it's possible to have your Board Members show on the page? I've loaded them all in as board members but they don't show on the published page as our Executives do.

 

Hi Jenna,

Right now positions flagged in the "Other" category, they are not shown on this page, though we are thinking about how to better present information for each club and their officers/boards/etc.

The Club Executive Widget will display all positions.

 

Q: 'The Club Executive Widget' is that the 'Club Executives and Directors' widget found in the essentials widget category or is there a different one?

Q: If the above mentioned Club Exec and Directors won't show my board members when labeled as 'other' is there a board member category that it will show or in development?
