Almost every Event we hold is a makeup opportunity for members. Why is there not a button on the Event management screen that generates multiple makeups for those who attended the event? It should be a simple process to connect the two, and will greatly improve a secretaries efficiently and accuracy in reporting makeups for members who attend club sanctioned events. It can also act as an incentive to those members who don't want to be engaged ... eg. "Sign up for the event in clubrunner to ensure you get credited for the makeup"

All of the new features you are generating, such as the Member Activity Report, are dependent on accurate information being entered into Clubrunner. The easier the data entry process becomes, the more value those reports will have.

    Hi Bob,

I apologize for the late response on your feedback.

This is something we have heard from other clubs as well, and something we're keeping under consideration as a wish-list item for future updates to the attendance system. We do appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback on this matter, thank you!

Bob, this reply is slightly off-topic but but it is germane to ClubRunner responding to your request in a timely manner. ClubRunner is faced with a dilemma. Rotary wants us to record "member activity" which compliments our motto People of Action. Members of my club are strongly resisting that direction. We are still tracking attendance and make ups. Personally, I can't figure our why we track attendance and with it "make-ups". It is just so unimportant. We are volunteers and we are independent grown-ups. We do things when and where we want to. We are all working at a furious pace even those who are retired and can be Rotarians of Action full time. What is there in our make-ups that want to track attendance. Is it because schools do it for 14 years (JK-12) and then most companies do some form even if it is informal. In terms of usefulness member activity is far more important than attendance. Attendance adds little to our data base. Hours of activity tells us much more about engagement even if we do not attend meetings.
