I have the silliest question but I can't seem to find the answer on either the Club Runner or the Rotary International site.

In the member designation area, what is the PHF+1-9 category for?

Not silly; PHF means the member has been recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow by a personal or club donation of USD1000; PHF+1 represents the next USD1000 when a Sapphire Pin is presented to a PHF; PHF represents two sapphires, etc

Les I appreciate your reply. I do know what a PHF is. What I'm inquiring about is that in the Member Designations section of a member's profile there are two different PHF universal designations that you can indicate for someone. I have included a photo for question clarity. I'd like to know what the one circled in red is supposed to be for (since there is already a space for Paul Harris Fellows). CR1.jpg

OK sorry, I did not see the standalone PHF. I'm not sure why the need for the two - PHF plus PHF 1-9. In that case, I would select the standalone PHF for the first recognition, then PHF+1 for the next USD1000 when a Sapphire Pin is presented to a PHF; PHF+2 represents two sapphires, etc

Thanks, Les - It just doesn't make any sense that there are two PHF categories and none for major donors (the four levels you can reach after your 9th PHF)

    Hello Jenna and Les,

Jenna thank you for the screenshot. The designations you see listed in ClubRunner are taken directly from RI. You can read about these major designations, they are broadly listed in this RI article:

    https://www.rotary.org/en/donate/recognition

On the ClubRunner list you don't see a "Major Donor" category because it's not something that gets automatically listed at RI (I believe that RI verifies before posting). To recognize "Major Donors" (that is, $10,000 donations and above) you need to contact RI at this email address:

    majordonorcoord@rotary.org

Note however that your club can create its own custom designations of your choosing, see:

    https://www.clubrunnersupport.com/article/1090-how-do-i-create-a-new-designation

This can be for "Major donors" or "Arch Klumph Society" or any other type of Rotary (or custom) designation you'd like. If you have more questions please post here.
