In the August edition of The Rotarian magazine, Ian Riseley, President, RI, suggest that we need to track hours and money that our clubs spend on their service. He suggests that we use the Rotary Club Central feature that has been recently rebuilt. I cannot find it on my login. Is this feature a ClubRunner tool? Thanks for your help and explanation.

Rotary Club Central is accessible through Rotary.org. You need to have a login account which you can create (just have your Rotary member id that you can get from clubrunner). Once you are logged into Rotary.org/myRotary you will see the link to the Rotary Club Central under your club details. Click on the "View Club Goals" to see the new redesigned Club Central. Here is what my access screen looks like for reference:

Gina - thanks! Perfect response. Do you know if ClubRunner interfaces to Rotary Club Central for attendance? Or does it have to be entered twice? Thanks again!

Rotary Club Central is where club set up their service projects, membership goals and Foundation goals for the year. Within the service projects clubs are asked to update the number of volunteers, volunteer hours and funds donated/used. As the attendance tracking within ClubRunner is not specific to the particular projects (and every club tracks differently)... you will be able to use Clubrunner to record the information needed but yes, you will have to enter the summarized amounts once the project is completed.

We use ClubRunner's Attendance 3.0 module for meeting attendance and the makeup feature is excellent for recording who attended events. So for us, tracking number of volunteers and the hours associated is easier then using a spreadsheet.

Hope this helps answer your question.

Also - if you need a tutorial for Rotary Club Central, once you have logged into MyRotary you can find the "Rotary Club Central Resources" course via this link http://learn.rotary.org/Pages/Catalog/CourseCatalog.aspx

    Hi Paul,

For Attendance, when your Club enters its data into ClubRunner, your month end data goes up to your District, and the District monitors your attendance. Rotary does not directly receive Attendance data nor is there any direct integration for it.

For Attendance v3, as you close meetings, this data is updated at the District level.

Thanks Zach! Another similar question on Attendance, I have entered events for the calendar to show up on the website, but they do not show up on Attendance v3. I have to reenter the event. Am I missing something? Are they not linked? Thanks again!

In this case no, the Event Calendar is not linked to the Attendance system. Each meeting in the Attendance system needs to be created and attendance recorded.

    These guides should help: http://clubrunner.helpserve.com/Kno...6/704/how-do-i-add-a-meeting-in-attendance-30
    http://clubrunner.helpserve.com/Kno...ng-attendance-for-active-and-honorary-members

Let me know how it goes
