We need to see average viewers and do not have time to go into each weekly bulletin to compile the data. There should be an easy way to extract details on all the bulletins (in a specified period) that were opened/successfully delivered/bounced.

It's easy if you do one a month but when you do one weekly it can get cumbersome.

What would also be useful is a report that shows recipients over a time period and which bulletins have been opened. That would help in culling lists so that we are not sending bulletins to people who don't want them. It would also be a great indicator of engagement.

Cheryl and Richard you raise a very interesting question. Should editor's cull newsletter recipients, ever if they are Rotarians? A couple of year's ago I did the monthly newsletter for the District Governor and soon became aware that a significant cohort never opened their newsletter and they were the same group each time.

I notice the same thing happens with our club's weekly newsletter, although the rate of opening is 20% higher. (70% club; 52% district). There is a cost to those not opened e-mails.

Is there a way to better understand Engagement, meaning we are looking to get MORE Rotarians Engaged and answer the question Who is NOT engaging. IF there was a way to run a report Who was Sent the Bulletin, did not open AND combine this with the Attendance Reports (no shows) this would give us a better indication of who to reach out to without having to go into each individual record.

Thoughts? How can we include Bulletin Opens with the Participation Points?
