Regretfully, I find managing bulletins the most frustrating activity on ClubRunner. I keep making mistakes which do not appear to be correctable.

But first, let's deal with the issue of the archive.

When I send a bulletin, I have the archive box checked. For the past three issues, they do not show in the archive. They are also not shown as "active". The only place I can find them is in the "sent history/statistics" folder.

    What is going on?

    Here is the "send history"

You will notice that I didn't name the May 28th issue of In Transistion correctly in either the Name, or the Subject. Can this be corrected in the archive? In Transition is an instructional bulletin on moving to ClubRunner. Ramblings is the club newsletter.

Here is what shows in the archive folder. You will notice that the 3 most recent issues in May for Ramblings is not on the archive nor is today's (May 28 ) issue of In Transistion.

And here is what it looks like on the Website page for members with a 70 classification. Both Groups are set at 24. If I didn't archive the May issues, which do not show, should they not be in the active file. However, they are not there.

Here is all I get in active bulletins. They are no different than the ones in My Templates
Anything you can suggest to help me manage these things better, would be most appreciated.

    Hi John,

Thank you for taking the time to collect all of those screenshots and details.

Based on the details you are describing, it sounds like you may be editing and sending your Bulletin templates, instead of creating a new Bulletin each week from the template to be sent. The Bulletin templates currently work exactly like Bulletins, except they cannot be archived despite that option being available. This would give the same results as you are seeing, and I think its likely our best case for why.

We have had several other customers fall into this trap before, and it is something we're working on improving for the future.

    Hello Zack,

I tried copying the template and creating a new bulletin from the drop down menu, but the new dated one does not show in the archived list. I must still be doing something wrong. What if I begin from "Recent Bulletins", rather than My templates?

BTW, I do login to CC.com with my Wethe4 account and can reply.

    John

Hm, maybe we've stumbled onto the issue. When you copy the template, it is just making a copy of that template. Instead of clicking copy, use the Create new Bulletin button, and select the template from it.
