Our club is considering converting from billing club members through QuickBooks to using the ClubRunner Dues and Billing module.

Our concern is being able to successfully and easily integrate the downloaded ClubRunner information into our QuickBooks club financial accounting system.

We are interested in hearing from clubs who are currently using the Dues and Billing module and have successfully integrated the information into a QuickBooks accounting system. Also, learning about any problems, issues, and tips related to this process.

    Thank you,
Rotary Club of Grass Valley, CA

We are in the same situation at the start of a fiscal year. I see ClubRunner has a Quickbooks export facility already. Is integration one way ? Is there any path to apply QuickBook Payments to ClubRunner via automated interface. Is this the integration referenced when they talked about Nova rollout and a new interface to Q/B ? What are the advantages to using ClubRunner to invoice other than all your Vendors (Members) are already there and you can bulk invoice? Why not just use Q/B to invoice?

Hello Grass Valley Rotary and Mark,

Thank you both for posting, I'd like to address some of the points you mentioned.

    1. The CR Dues & Billing has an "Export to Quickbooks" option for the time being, this is one way. You can export out of CR, but cannot import from Quickbooks.

    2. At this time there is no way to apply a Quickbooks payment automatically into CR.

    3. This entire process is being updated as we speak. With our CR "Nova" rollout, one new feature will be a brand new Financials module. It will have the ability to handle club expenses, including more features than the current Dues & Billing module. It will also have QuickBooks integration, allowing transactions made within ClubRunner to be tracked within QuickBooks.

    4. Here is a new feature we've released recently, please note that:

    a. CR now supports PayPal (as well as Stripe) as a payment provider:
    https://site.clubrunner.ca/Page/online-payment-and-ecommerce-us

    b. Quickbooks supports PayPal integration:
    https://quickbooks.intuit.com/online/integrations/paypal

So you could setup PayPal, and payments made through the CR website would also show up in Quickbooks.

We are very excited about CR Nova and all the new enhancements it will introduce. Please reply to this post if you have any other questions.
