Stories/Publishing/Sharing - Wish there were more...

    Had a chance to do a quick look around. Looks new and familiar at the same time. One of the biggest challenges I have had with ClubRunner is sharing items to social media (events, stories, etc.). I tried this, and it looks like we are still going to have similar issues. Are there any plans to bring the sharing component more current:

    1. Ability to share to a group or page without having to be currently active on that page. Other tools that I use for media publication do not require this. I can have a option to connect the page and post directly to that page on the appropriate media channel. I do not know if this is a limitation of ClubRunner or the Share plugin that you are using.
    2. Looks like no real changes in the story/blogging. Still pretty antiquated technology for publications. Would like to see more flexibility in this area.
    Overall, I had hoped to see a bigger step to WYSIWYG drag and drop design for telling our stories. I have experience, but it's often hard to create a nice story using the design tools available today. Less experienced members (who we want to empower) have even more difficulty.

    Hi David,

    Thank you for taking the time to review Nova and provide feedback.

    I can be candid here and confirm that this first phase of Nova is focused on the harmonization and tighter integration with our general systems. You can see this in areas like the Donations, Cloud Events, Reports, and the updated Member Lists and profiles. Nova will continue to evolve after the first beta release, and the website will be included in a future phase.

    As we have not yet begun to improve the website and content end, now is the best time to share feedback with us and specific details.

    You mentioned social media sharing, I’d love to know more about your tools that you’re using today and how they’re helping. Any details you can share about what and how you’re using them are very helpful! Could you share some screenshots from the tools you are using, or a link to them?

    On the story content front, what troubles are you (or your members) running into with stories, and how did you see drag and drop working to improve this? You should be able to drag and drop a file from your desktop, into the browser, and have it get uploaded. This should be working in the current version of ClubRunner, but how it gets processed in Nova is a lot cleaner and improved.
