Yesterday we finally got a key part of Membership Success working! We have two new leads now that we are actively working. We chose to put a button on our home page labeled "Interested in Joining Our Club" that leads to the new prospect form. The prospect fills it out and it is sent to our club.

    A couple of clues:
    1. I have our club website http://bendrotary.org hosted by GoDaddy. If you own a domain there, likely true for other site hosters as well, you have FREE email forwarding. This allows you to get around one of the limitations in the beta as the current release only allows you to send the information from the prospect to a single email. To get around this I created a free email forwarding address on my domain labeled as "prospects@bendrotary.org". Then I forward all email sent to this address to the membership chairman, the president, myself, and a few others on the membership committee. By doing this, knowing the mobility of our members, no one should be missed and not given a feedback from their inquiry. We have tested this and it works. Today, for example, less than 24 hours after activating this, we received two new membership leads and we are actively following up now with both.

    2. Access control. A limitation of the current release is the difficulty to reach the membership success tab in CR. As site administrator I can see the tab under website designer. BUT I do not want to give others this level 30 access. But I learned today from Mickey of the CR team that others with level 40, 50,60 access also can get access to the tab by the following path:
      - Log in to administration
      - Communication tab
      - Email services
      - Then Membership success tab will show up on the right hand side of the blue bar and all members that have this access can see the posting by the potential member. This has been tested and works fine.
I hope that this assists other members of the clubrunner community.

Perfect. That is what I want to do, but our domain is hosted by Clubrunner, and I cannot figure how to get email forwarding from Clubrunner. Any ideas??

You will need to ask CR for assistance in doing this. I use GoDaddy and it is very easy for me there.

    Cool. Thanks for the reply.
I use my normal provider for other domains I control, and it is easy to forward mail.
Our club uses Clubrunner, and our domain is hosted by Clubrunner. We weren't offered any option to use Clubrunner, but host on our own servers.
I see now how you setup http://bendrotary.org/. My apologies for not looking earlier.
That would be so much easier. But it means that pages in the domain get the funny naming system. With domain hosting with Clubrunner we get better page addressing but maybe with the disadvantage of some flexibility in email addresses, apps and site stats??

I seem to have drifted off topic here, but I appreciate your comments.

    Good news Gregg,
We can setup up to 5 email forwarding accounts when we have the Club's domain. However it looks like we do not have the domain nundahrotary.org.au. It looks like a company called Crazydomains has it. If it was with us, I would ask to send us a ticket with the details about the emails you would like us to create with the email addresses they forward to.

After the email gets created please send us a ticket to change the membership chair's email in the Membership Success module to the new email you would like. Please click on the following link to submit a ticket:
    http://clubrunner.helpserve.com/Tickets/Submit

To find stats about the Club's website, I recommend using Google Analytics. To learn how to setup this up in ClubRunner please click on the following link:

    I hope this helps! :)

    David,
Thanks so much for your input. I will check out how we setup our domain and site.
We had our domain name in use for many years before we came to Clubrunner. We swapped our domain registration management with Crazydomains before we joined Clubrunner, and I didn't realise any other options at that time. Thanks. :)

In this specific case @Gregg Reynolds we're not able to manage *.au domains, as the company is not based out of Australia. However, most domain registrars offer email forwarding or accounts through their various services.
