Emergency contact details

    Our Rotary club holds several events during the year and we have many active members. There are many members who do not have a spouse or partner and so there is no other contact details for them in Club Runner Nova. Often members who's spouse or partner is also a member, will attend an event with that partner.
    In all of these situations, should something occur for anyone, the team leader at the event will need contact details in case of an emergency, however, there is no such information held.
    Can we include an Emergency Contact Details for each member?

    Thank you for posting, Peter. For all your Active/Honorary members, in addition to the fields that already exist in our system you can create "custom fields":

    These are additional database fields that are stored inside each person. In fact I believe some other clubs already have created "Emergency Contact" custom fields.

    If you look at your own member profile in the member area, scroll down to the very bottom left, you will see the "Custom Fields" area. All members have this section.

    Please note that to follow the instructions a club member must have level "30" or admin access. Please speak to your club website admins (Sarah or Josephine, I'm not allowed to post their last names here). And please post here again if you have more questions.
