Making a document link hidden in a widget

    I created a home page widget that presents all our weekly meeting minutes documents.
    This is what will be listed in my "Chumline Meeting Minutes" widget. Is there a way to make the document link hidden?

    I have currently got around this issue by editing the source code for each widget document as follows:
    <li>
    <a href="documents/en-ca/fe027c7e-d171-4813-a169-5e52e46c9757/1" target="_blank">Chumline - June 18, 2026</a>
    </li>
    However, this is going to be really cumbersome editing the new item each week.
    Much better would be a home page widget that automatically displays all the items in the Documents list.

    This is a custom widget, meaning you set whatever the link text says when you create the link. You can do this directly within the link option from the editing toolbar:

    Just adjust that there as needed and you don't need to actually go in the code or anything each time.

Top
