Since we moved across to Clubrunner, a couple of members have asked me to change the date format on calendar events, etc.

Currently as far as I can tell, the only date format available is like "Mar 01, 2018 7:00 AM" The feedback I have got is that members would like that to be "Thu Mar 01, 2018 7:00am" or, even better since in most cases the year is understood, "Thu Mar 01 7:00am"

In other words, they would like to see the day of the week so they don't have to look up a calendar to know exactly which day is meant.

Good idea Mark. I have passed the suggestion onto our product team. The members wanted the name of the day on this page correct? http://brisbanerotary.org.au/Events
If/when we make this change, we will let you know.

Great. I have added the upcoming events widget to the suggestion for it to be changed too.

The option to set a date format in any event widget would be great. While you don't need to provide as many date formats as word, some common variations would be wonderful.

I received some feedback from our Product team about this. ClubRunner is a multi lingual and currency platform. The format of the date is set by the language of the Club or District. This is done through Microsoft on our end. Because of this, to allow Clubs/District to be able to set their own date format will be difficult to do. The suggestion is still with our Product team, but it will take longer for our Developers to create an option to change the default date format.
Once again, thank you for the suggestion
