Email Invitations for Events

    When I send out an email invitation for an event (non-pro flavour of Eventrunner) the invitation has a link for Attend or Decline as XXXX .

    However, when members follow the link, there is no option to decline. Just to Register. Actually, a button that says "no thanks" would be very useful, but at least the link and the target should be in agreement with what the options are.

    Hello Mark,

    We're working on updating the Event Planner invitations to remove the decline option in in those emails as it is not something that is supported in Paid Event configurations. However I will also let our Product team know that you would like that functionality to be available so we can keep it in mind for future updates.

    The decline option in Event Planner options is a valuable tool so we know who is sending an apology and to avoid repetitious reminders. Rather than decline, 'Apologies' or 'No thanks' might be more descriptive

    Thanks for following up!

    We've heard from Clubs that they would like the decline option, and it is something up for consideration in the future. For the time being since we cannot support it today, we thought it best to make the emails match the expectations for the website. Once this change rolls out, at the very least the registration email and screen will be more similar.

    now that there's a decline option on the RSVP for an event, it would be good to have the declines added to the registration reports so we can see how many people have responded to the email one way or another. Thoughts? (am I missing something?)
