As far as I can ascertain, when you create an event, the registration can cover either one or two attendees - and once you have chosen that, that is what it is for all registrations. Honestly this might have been fine in the 1970s when if you were a Rotarian you were a married man, but now?

We use the pro version of Eventrunner mainly for fundraisers where we are collecting money on the website. Fundraising dinners often get half their income from people who buy a block of seats and invite their friends. Hence, I would like someone who comes into the event to be able to book for 1 person, 2 people, 3 people, 4 people, 5 people, 6 people, or a (discounted) table of 8. Furthermore, I would like to be able to collect the names of all the guests for nametags and I'd like someone to be able to come back to their registration at a later date, add a person and pay the difference.

We can sort of get around this by creating a package for a table of 8 at a different price and letting people book guests as add-ons and asking them to write down the names of guests in a long-text field on the questionnaire page. This is suboptimal, however, because (a) it does not correctly keep count of how many people are registered so you have to do a manual cutoff and hope you don't screw it up and (b) If the amount to be paid is variable, it seems I cannot enforce a policy that all guests and add-ons be fully paid for before the registration is added to the system. Sometimes the ability to have part payment is a useful feature, but for us, mostly it is not. It just creates work chasing people up.
