One of my monthly tasks as secretary is to prepare a report of volunteer hours for our President to take to the cluster meeting, where the AG consolidates the reports and takes them to district, and I assume they then get totted up to Zone and eventually global.

This currently involves me sending an email out to all members and then entering the responses into a spreadsheet I maintain.

Strikes me that one of the main benefits of Clubrunner for me is that I enter this kind of information into clubrunner instead of into spreadsheets, so that all the information is in one place and if the president or anyone else wants to see the info at any time, they can get it from Clubrunner instead of by contacting me and asking for the spreadsheet.

So: Could I suggest a feature be added to the long list of things that would be nice to have: A volunteer hour tracker that could then also provide a major enhancement to the club dashboard and membership success?

    Hello Mark,

I know the President has to provide project volunteers hours and the project's budget on myrotary.org too.

Good news! We are going to be coming out with "Volunteer Hours" in ClubRunner using the "Volunteers" module. We are going to open this new enhancement to the Clubs who volunteer beta test new ClubRunner features soon. Would you like me to add your Club as a beta tester too?

Yes please....our club (Guelph South, 56233) as well! It would be good to be able to replace our spreadsheet with a CR-based integrated solution. Thank you!

Great! I added your Club into ClubRunner beta. You can access the Volunteer Hours Report by follow the steps below:
    1. Please click on "Volunteers" on the blue menu bar near the top
    2. Then "Welcome" on the grey menu bar.
    3. Then you will see "Member Hours Report (Beta)" and "Club Hours Report (Beta)" on the grey menu bar.

To learn more about the volunteer hours reports, please click on the following link:

OOps! I didn't see this at the time. Yes, we would like to be included in the Beta if possible.

    Hello Cynthia, Mark and Dede,

Thank you for posting, and I apologize for this delayed reply post.

I can confirm the 'Member Volunteer Hours Report', and 'Club Volunteer Hours Reports' are available in the current versions of ClubRunner, without needing to be a ClubRunner beta tester.

To view the Member and Club Volunteer Hour Reports, please use the information and screenshots in this article on our Knowledgebase, clubrunnsupport.com:

    https://www.clubrunnersupport.com/kb/articles/volunteer-hour-tracking-beta

    These reports will display;
    • The total hours a member had volunteered, based on a Volunteer Signup Lists' 'Task' start and end times, the member had signed up to in the past. Learn more about creating a Volunteer Signup List with Groups, Shifts and Tasks, with the information and steps in this article:
      https://www.clubrunnersupport.com/kb/articles/how-do-i-create-a-new-volunteer-signup-list

    • Any hours entered by a member, or an Administrator into the 'Member Hours Report'

    • Any hours entered by an Administrator, into the 'Club Hours Report'
    I hope this helps!

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Aloha,
Related to this: When you schedule events in Event Planner, you can enable Registration. Then I, acting as the secretary, can enter who attended the project with "Register Members". After the event I can see the members who attended by generating the "Registered Attendees (Detail)" report. But this doesn't integrate into the "Attendance" module. In fact, each event is tracked separately and there is no periodic summary.
My goal is to track attendance for all events and all in one place would be best.
