I would like to suggest that we create a new forum. Most of our topics so far focus on technical aspects of using the ClubRunner CMS.

The first word in CMS is "Content". To me, issues of content are crucial to building a successful website.

Questions, such as who is your audience, what are the goals you are trying to achieve, what are the pros and cons of the various templates, what type of stories do you post, and what font and size you use are all inter-related variables.

You might call it the philosophy behind your website. I do not think "Best Practices and Showcase" has quite the right meaning for such issues to be discussed.

I do not know about others but I know I work very much alone and have no one with whom to have such discussions. I suspect there are experienced practitioners in this group who have given considerable thought to what they hope to achieve with a club website.

So here in graphic form is my suggestion for a new Forum:

Seems like a start, I too work on my own, even though we have 3 administrators on our district site, I am the only one active!
i also have the task of running our ClubRunner Waratah website, same thong, I work alone with no support.

It would be useful for me as I am far too focused on technical issues and not on audience and content.

I think for the time being, those issues would be best under General Support, which we're considering renaming to just General!

As the community continues to grow and we see that we need dedicated areas for specific topics we'll grow to add more discussion areas.

Thank you all for your feedback and suggestions on this matter!

I understand. I'm curious; what did you think of the graphic? I would agree with General. Adding support leads me to think of technical questions. I have been using the Best Practices and Showcase Category as an alternative.
