Regrettably, this is not a ClubRunner site. It is an independent site for the Beaufort Rotary Club in Australia (near Perth) By invitational, I mean its main purpose is to invite viewers to join. The URL is http://beaufortrotaryclub.com.au/
There are lots of fresh design concepts on this site which is why I put it in the "Best" of show category. I'll love to get your reactions. They had a professional photographer do the pictures. This banner picture on the home page of their members is a good example.

    Hello John,

Thank you for forwarding this (non-ClubRunner) website, it's obvious a good deal of thought and work went into this site.

I like the 'always floating' orange email icon at bottom right, a very quick and easy method for 'Contact us'.

I've forwarded the URL to our team, including our Design leads, so they can all have a look.

Note - though there might be a bit of custom coding, many of the elements you see can already be designed in ClubRunner. Beaufort is using the equivalent of our full width design layouts. As an example see our own newly designed corporate website - www.clubrunner.ca . ClubRunner.ca was created using our own Website Designer tools (albeit with some custom coding).

If you have any more questions or suggestions please let us know.

Mickey, thanks for the comments and sharing what's new at ClubRunner. Did you happen to notice that the floating icon changes? When there is an agent on the site who can chat there is a head as appears in the picture I posted above. (Her name was Louise and she did it with her iPhone) It floats up and down in a similar fashion. When I checked it now the mail symbol you mentioned is in place.

What fascinates me is the obvious thought that went into composing the photograph. I was tempted to postulate that every detail was planned beforehand but I the more I analyse it the more I think it was more spontaneous. I really do think they are real members of the club. The club has about 30 members of which 16 appear on the banner. Of the 16 ten are women. They have all ages represented with men making up the most senior members. Women dominate but they put a man in the middle of the picture surrounded by the women. However, with his blond hair, tattoos and flower-patterned shirt, he is not your typical male Rotarian. Next to him is his female equivalent. She has a plug in her ear, a sign that she may even be a tattoo artist. I even think she has a pearl under her nose. Plus the second woman Left to Right is all boss while she just reveals a tiny bit of her tattoo. And what can I say about the mother with child; speaks to youth, motherhood, working professional and can still be a Rotarian. They are all saying we are the new Rotarians.

The scene is real. The beer, pop and wine are nice touches. There is a cash box in front of the centre fellow and the paper on the right end has the pop price and is titled "Approved Manager".
RI could learn a lot from them.
