    Has anyone else discovered this:
Yesterday I had an unusual number of visits (over 300) and almost all of them came from Boardman Oregon and were from different computers at Amazon. These excerpts from screen shots at Statcounter will show you what is going on. Is there anyway you can help me inform Amazon or deal with this?

I suspect someone has a web crawler (much like google bot) on the AWS platform that happened to crawl your website. The crawling/visiting isn't doing anything negative to your website, and our robots.txt just asks that bots not index the login page so it is technically following the guidelines. All of the pages that it viewed are public, and have public information on them.

What is your concern regarding the increased views specifically?

I don't believe what they're doing is violating any guidelines that AWS has in place for abusive use of their network.

Thanks Zach...I do not know anything about AWS; what I do know is that back in 2010 I had a serious compromise of my education blog that intentionally caused school board firewalls to be triggered so as to prevent principals from reading it at work.

So the bots simply randomly found the Dryden site, similar to Google bots scanning the site, which I believe is positive.

    Thanks for the prompt reply!
