Attendance / Leave of Absence / Member Updates

    I know the old Rotary rules required members to get prior approval before taking leave for vacations, etc and I can understand access to update leave is therefore restricted to Club Executives and Administrators, however in our Club this is now more relaxed and members tend to take leave without prior approval.

    Knowing when someone is away is very useful when planning meeting responsibilities and volunteering events, etc. I am wondering if leave could be updated by the individual member. What's other Clubs' policy on this?
