Booking Process causing Confusion

    Hi,

    When a member wants to register a guest at the same time as they are registering themselves they get the below unnecessary message half way through the process. The message askes the member whether they want to book a guest before they have completed their own registration. However they must add their guest before they complete the registration. If they complete their own registration first, they then have to start the registration and payment process all over again for their guest.

    Can you please get rid of this message? It would save an awful lot of frustration and negative feedback about ClubRunner.

    Hi Richard,

    I just ran into this issue the other day while working with a customer. This popup is intended to help stop users registering only their guests, without their own registrations. However, in some configurations the popup is firing repeatedly, despite the fact that they have indicated that they want to register.

    We are working on this!

    A week ago I registered for a Gala our club is having and I wanted to bring a guest but I never had a pop-up happen as in this query. There didn't seem to be a way to register her so I just paid for two tickets. Is the problem at our end due to the way our organizer set it up or another issue.

    Yes, we are still experiencing this problem. It hasn't been fixed yet. When the member registers themselves first, and then clicks on "Register Additional Guest", this misleading message pops up. The natural reaction is to answer 'No' because the person registering assumes that by proceeding they will cancel their own registration. Just as a matter of interest, in your system, John, are you also paying the meeting fee as part of the registration process?

    This issue should be getting resolved in the very near future, I will follow up and confirm for the community once the issue is resolved!

    I should have an update for you by October 7th on the progress.
