I am looking to change the carousel image on my website.
The current sizing is 1600px 400px. I have some pictures that are 492px x 615px.
I have used a few programs but not knowing much about this process while I can change the size by unticking the proportional box the result is hopeless. Can I do this reduction successfully or not?

    Hello Chris,

If your images are 492 x 615 pixels (or a similar size) then they would be too small for a full width carousel. A full width carousel can stretch the entire full width of the screen. We recommend having larger images if you're planning to make them full width. We also recommend having wide images instead of tall images if they are to be full-width.

1600 x 400 pixels is a recommended size but you don't have to follow this exactly, we have more detailed information here:

In short trying to scale any small image (e.g., anything below 1000 pixels wide or less) into full width will result in a blurry, pixelated image on a full width high resolution device screen.

If you have more questions please post again.
