Cloud Events - Attendees answers to questions

    Hi folks - muddling thru our first live event! Noticed that there doesn't appear to be any way to report on answers by attendees (eg. do you have any dietary restrictions?). I note that you can click on each attendee and that info is shown there, but it doesn't show on the email confirmation (at least the system-generated one) it just shows name under "Attendee". Does the same question also need to be added to "Buyer" even if the same person, and if so does it then show twice?? Do I need to get brave and try editing a system response to actually show that info, either for the event organizer or the attendee themselves? Or is there reporting somewhere for an event (eg. showing a list of answers to a specific question like dietary restrictions) that I just haven't found yet? Going to continue playing with it, but in the meantime thanks for your help!

    Hi Dianne,

    I do apologize for the delayed follow up here.

    You can absolutely export the attendee data within the Administrative Area. Under the Cloud Event itself, when you go to the Attendees tab you can export the data you are looking for via the Export Attendees button which has one attendee record per line, or Export Registrations which will contain both the order and attendee data in it.

    At this time the system emails do not include the attendees answers though we are working on some alternative templates and guides to show customers how they can include this information in their own outgoing emails.

    Only if you really need / want to collect that info separately from the buyer. It would absolutely show both sets of questions if you add them. Depending on the type of event, it may make more sense to ask the buyer some of the questions vs the attendee. I would not suggest doubling up the questions unless you have a specific reason to.

    Thanks Zach! In a perfect world there would be an actual report, rather than a download to a CSV etc, but maybe in the end the download is better because then the responses to the questions can be sorted to some extent. Anyway we'll look forward to future enhancements including the alternative templates and guides.
