What causes a contact name to be greyed out --has the recipient blocked further messages?
Thank you for posting. When composing any email or bulletin in ClubRunner, if you're unsure why certain email recipients can't be selected - please hover your mouse over their greyed out selection box. When you hover your mouse and leave it there for a moment, a small pop-up box will appear telling you why can't select them.
Sometimes the user may not have an email listed in their member profile. Or, sometimes the user clicks the "Unsubscribe" link found on all emails sent out of ClubRunner - even if they do this accidentally, our system will not allow them to be selected.
If the user accidentally clicked "Unsubscribe" but they wish to receive ClubRunner emails, executives and admins can edit that user's member profile and check their "Privacy" settings. Please see:
The user can also re-enable their own settings by editing their own member profile. If you "re-enable" their options in the user's privacy settings, you'll be able to select them.
