Countdown Clock

    Hi all,

    I want to be able to embed a countdown clock in our Bulletin so that readers can see how long before the club's 50th anniversary dinner and to remind them to book.
    I can achieve this by creating a link to a specific website that displays the number of hours, minutes, etc until the big event but I'm hoping to be able to display the actual information within the Bulletin.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Ian,

    This is a great question!

    Bulletins when they are sent out are very limited in what they can do. This is not a ClubRunner limitation, but an email limitation itself. Emails do not allow any sort of javascript and disallow a large set of html and css codes. Due to these restrictions a live countdown that is powered by something like javascript, or other plugins like flash won't be allowed.

    You could send an image of the countdown as a teaser and link to the countdown timer, but you won't be able to add the actual countdown clock to the Bulletin and have it appear in peoples in boxes.
