Creating Volunteer lists - be great to have an 'on stand-by' column

    so when a member who has Booked needs to cancel, they can email the first person on the Stand-by list and advise - OR for the Chair - who receives notification that a Booked member has cancelled so then they move the first person on the stand-by list to Booked and that person receives a confirmation email

    Hello Barb,

    At this time we do not have a stand by feature, but that is a great suggestion for the Volunteers module, and I appreciate you taking the time to share that with us.

    It sounds like you’re looking for something like the following. The ability to flag a position / allow a position to have an overflow/backup persons:
    • When someone drops out of the filled position and an opening occurs:
      • Trigger an email to the overflow/backup users to encourage them to signup / fill the gap OR
      • Fill the first person from the overflow/backup list into the spot, and notify them so they can do a final confirmation
    Were there any other items that are causing problems, or something else you’d like to see improvements on the Volunteers fronts?
