Email Names - editing

    When editing the system's emails some allow you to edit the name of the email, others do not. Is it possible to allow editing for all? The reason for the request is that it enables easy identification for emails that are tailored to our club, e.g., adding an identifier in the name, especially for users who may not be too familiar with the whole system.

    Can you please let me know which emails you're attempting to edit the name of? I will check and confirm if its possible for you to modify it, and make suggestions on how to proceed!

    Hi Zach. Thanks for the quick reply. Most see to allow editing of the name as with this example of one that I was able to edit: "External Message | RCoV Website Inquiry - Thank you to prospect for inquiry & info request". Just added our club name so we know it's one that's been customized for us to use.
    An example of one that I was not able to edit is: "External Message | Club extending invitation to join".

    Hello Carolyn,

    Thank you so much for confirming which template you were having issues with.

    Looking at how the system operates, it looks like we do not let you customize the name of the template, until you've customized the template itself. So for example, if you edit the message subject, or contents of the email and save, you will then be able to adjust the name of the template. I'll make sure to share this with the team to see if we can address and improve this case.

    I do want to confirm that the name of the templates are only visible inside of the Membership Success module to users like yourself, and you should be able to customize them if you desire! People who receive the email will see the subject field.
