Events listing on Built in Page limited to 6 months?

    It appears that "Properties" for built-in page Events cannot be modified.
    The number of events being displayed is being driven by the default search parameters. I have events created that go beyond 6 months and as such are only displayed if you change the date in the "Search Options" which few users are going to be aware of. (Interestingly, this does NOT affect the calendar display).
    How can I change the default date for the search?

    Hello Cheryl - no reply whatsoever yet. It's a real pain. Like every District, we set dates for events like Assembly, Conference, etc sometimes up to 12 months in advance, and start promoting them well ahead of the date. It seems such a shame that they can't appear in the events listing.
    This whole module has so many limitations and annoying quirks. And yet organising events is what we do the most! Be it a weekly meeting, training, fundraising, or community event, or such like.

    Maybe ask them again? I agree - events and service projects are critical and people should not have to reset the date to search. I will follow the thread. Thank you for replying.
