Quite a awhile ago the blog/comments button disappeared but it was rarely used. Now, however the social media buttons are gone; even some posts where they appeared and had been used.

Is this a glitch at your end or did I do something to cause them to disappear?

I have checked the box but it still shows as checked. I also do not seem to see a response "saved" when I click saved.

    Hi John,

I took a look over your club websites recent stories, and see that a few of them do not appear to have the social media share bar enabled. Though looking at others, I can see it.

If your browser has any of its privacy options on, like blocking trackers, it may be preventing those social integrations from being available.

With your permission I can check some of the stories on your club's website, if you can confirm which you are seeing issues with.

Hi Zach. As usual you have nailed the cause. Blocking trackers was indeed turned on, and was causing the problem. On turning it off the social media button reappeared. It was also interfering with the story in other very frustrating ways. For example if I had created a post with pictures inserted and after publishing I discovered an error such as no space between paragraphs and I opened it all of the pictures and the tags would be gone and without even saving the change the change would appear. I would then have to reinsert everything. Talk about a pain!

While I'm at it, what has happened to the blog. The box to check off comments no longer appears. All I see is the word blog sometimes. Is that caused by something else at my end?

Zach and company. I hate to say it but the problem I describe in my reply above is still occurring even with the tracker turned off. I simply cannot complete a post. I sent a request for help.

    Hi John

I am working with you on your ticket with the issues with the stories.

I was able to identify why blog comments were not available in your account, and am working with the team to deploy a fix for it.

The comments section is now working. Also the story can now be updated without it reverting to an earlier version. Thanks.
Just a quick question. Are club members still the only people who can make a comment and only if they are logged in?

    Hello John,

    Thank you for following up!

My colleague Zach is out of the office today, and I will do my best to assist in his absence.

You are correct, only club members & other users added to the account are able to post a comment on a comment-enabled story, by first logging into the website.

You can review for adding an Other User, by using the steps & images in this guide on our Knowledgebase:
