Member Designations

    I would like to be able to set a Member Designation (rather than tag) for "Charter Member" but I can't find how to do it? I thought I had read that clubs could do it via their District's website but after checking it I don't see an option there to add designations - is it possible that a District would need to be live on NOVA in order for that option to be available, for a club to add designations? We're proud of our Charter Members, especially the ones that are still with us, and would like to highlight that on their member record if possible.

    Hi Dianne,

    Designations are still in the system!

    To setup and manage Designations, please take the following steps:

    1. Navigate into the Members Area
    2. Click on the Settings link at the bottom of the menu
    3. Under Membership Management & Data, click on "Member Designations"
    4. This will lead you to the designation management screen, allowing you to create new designations.

    Once the new designation is added, you can navigate into the member's profile, and under the Rotary tab, choose Edit Designations.

    OK that works, thanks! And I downloaded a JPG of the Paul Harris Fellow pin to use as the graphic (although it's smaller than the graphics for the universal designations, are they a specific size that I can try to emulate?)
