MyEventRunner: Deleting timeframes

    For our event, the price changes after a certain date, which has now passed. I had a request from our chair to remove the previous date, but I'm puzzling over the options at Form Designer > Time Ranges. There's an option to edit the dates due and percentage required, and add a new milestone, but no option to delete the previous milestone. Is there a different method, or is it just not allowed in the designer?

    You cannot remove a previous timeline while people are registered in it. Its a restriction to ensure that data is preserved correctly.

    However, I can understand why it would be best to only show the current price options to persons registering, or at least not show offers that have already passed. I'll make sure your Product team hears your feedback.

    I ran into the same sort of issue. In order to remove the "early bird" pricing once the date has passed I amended the time line to show today's date and then entered only the increased pricing. Now if someone who got the early pricing goes in to edit their registration the pricing changes to the increased levels for all items leaving a balance due even if an item has not been added. Why can't the early bird pricing be hidden if the checkbox under the add on or package for the earlier timeline is unchecked?

    Hello Brian, thank you for calling us. As we discussed on the phone (and for the sake of other users) - the 'checkbox' to enable, when editing any package, will enable/disable the package (at that early bird price), the user won't be able to select, but - it will not hide that package and pricing.

    We do have an existing request in our system about this: once an early bird period passes, we should hide that pricing so no registrant can see it anymore. While I cannot guarantee when or if this suggestion might be implemented, each suggestion is carefully evaluated by our team. If I receive any feedback you will be notified, because your name is attached to this request.

    In the meantime I'm glad we were able to restore all pricing to how you had it.
