Within the Cloud Events section, when creating tickets, we are now given the option to add a service fee to the purchase price. I'd really like to see an option to make this an optional addition for the purchaser to choose whether or not they want to pay the fees.

With some other non-profits I've worked with in the past, we had this type of functionality and it actually helped offset the costs of all our credit card fees by allowing people to choose to help cover those costs. I'd rather not impose or force the fee to be charged. I've added "products" to our tickets to allow for the purchaser to add an optional add-on to help with the CC fees but its a bit ugly and might be confusing for some.

    Hi Cassandra,

I have some good news in that this is a feature we are looking to add in future updates, and appreciate you sharing that you're looking for it. We prioritized delivering the ability to enforce the service fee first, before introducing options to allow it to be optional based on the purchasers decision.

Glad you were able to find a workaround, and hopefully it won’t be needed for too much longer!

Can you add a service fee (percentage) to a batch or invoice order?

Hi Josh, not at this time. Though this is something we're looking to add to Nova's invoicing functionally in the future.

Has there been any updates to Nova's invoicing? Curious if the option to add a service fee to a batch or invoice is now available?

You can now turn on service fees for your batch orders (club invoices), it's available in your own website Miranda (thank you for upgrading it to Nova). I believe it's already been turned on in your site, here is how you can check:
    https://www.clubrunnersupport.com/kb/articles/how-do-i-manage-my-payment-accounts

An important note, when you turn on service fees for dues and invoices they'll only be applied for credit card payments. So it won't apply for members who give you cash/cheque payments (you will be inputting those as manual payments).

Please post again if you have more questions.

Thank you. That totally works and is easy to use. We only want the service charge on the credit card payments so that works for us.
