The event links on https://rotary7070.org/clubinfo/markham-sunrise do not work – and I can see clearly what the issue is:

On the 7070 district site, https://rotary7070.org/clubinfo/markham-sunrise/, the Nov 23 meeting link is wrongly directed to https://rotary7070.org/CalendarItem...-27964dd26413&Start=2022-11-23&End=2022-11-23 – and it fails

On the Markham Sunrise club site, https://portal.clubrunner.ca/1136, the same Nov 23 event link is directed to https://portal.clubrunner.ca/1136/C...-27964dd26413&Start=2022-11-23&End=2022-11-23 and it works correctly

Looking at the difference between the 2 URLs – the only difference is the source web page in the link - https://rotary7070.org/ versus https://portal.clubrunner.ca/1136

    District Site - https://rotary7070.org/CalendarItem...-27964dd26413&Start=2022-11-23&End=2022-11-23

    Club Site - https://portal.clubrunner.ca/1136/C...-27964dd26413&Start=2022-11-23&End=2022-11-23

Seems to be that the district site needs to replace https://rotary7070.org/ with https://portal.clubrunner.ca/1136 in the event link and all will work correctly.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Is this a clubrunner issue?
    Thanks
Jon Stevens, Markham Sunrise Club. ON, Canada

    Hi Jon,

Thank you for posting about this issue, and I apologize for the delayed follow up from our team.

I can confirm that this is an issue on our end, on how the upcoming event widget URLS are being built on the district's website. As you observe, the link is to the district's website instead of the club, which causes the link to be broken.

As soon as I have an update on this issue being resolved, I will follow up!

    Hi Jon,

I do apologize for the delayed follow up on this matter. We pushed an update out to address this issue in mid January. You should no longer be observing these issues on the district's website.

Please let us know if that is not the case!
