Our membership committee has been talking about ways to reach out to club members who are going through rough times in their lives such as illness, loss of a loved one, or other personal challenges. Or sometimes one of our older members begins showing up less and less often. When we are aware of these situations, we try to send a note or calling as appropriate. Sometimes we are unaware of a member's personal challenges. We don't want to intrude but we don't want our members to feel that we don't care. Are there best practices or guidelines that could help us? Thank you.
