Tag Management within the Contacts Module

    Hi ClubRunner Nova Community!

    Just want to say that we are loving Nova so far, its a brilliant product. However we've got a quick question around Tags within the contacts module.

    We've previously had tags with the value "Friends" within our contacts to not our Friends of Rotary, which got carried over into Nova during the migration, however I've noted we've now got both Friends and Friend, along with Bulletin subscribers and Bulletin Subscriber

    The bulletin subscriber (no s) and the friend (no s) tags have no contacts in them, so the question is - Can we remove them?

    Is there also a way to modify these values without needing to reapply all the tags? I want to put a capital letter at the front of them all, but not if it's going to create an hour of work!

    Hi Jed,

    I apologize for the delayed follow up here, I brought this issue to the team immediately so we could start discussing but did not follow up with you. I appreciate your patience while we were working to reply.

    We're working towards improving this issue for all customers and we'll be focused on the cleanup of the duplicated tags. We will be moving forward with a cleanup of the plural tags, this means we will be migrating the friends and bulletin subscriber tags to friend and bulletin subscriber. Once the migration completes customers will only be left with the friend and bulletin subscriber groups.

    I will follow up and confirm as soon as this has been addressed. Until then for any other general tag cleanup our team should be able to assist, anyone is able to post either here on the community or by submitting a ticket through the helpdesk.

    I want to confirm that all tags are always lower case right now, so there would not be a way for you to clean them up in that manner.

    Looking forward to any additional feedback you and your club has about Nova.
