First of all, I admit that I am an HTML 3 guy. It is a new, bold world of coding out there. I designed most of my websites in the 1990's.
When I look "under the hood" and inspect today's HTML, I realize that I have a lot to learn.

    • Can I add preexisting table code from an HTML page which I will modify to today's standards to a custom page? I have attempted to import a Word table into a custom page via the menu by cutting and pasting with unsatisfactory results. They look pretty in Word but become a jumbled mess. The Word stuff is bloated and in my opinion full of unnecessary code. This is my primary concern. I miss the Table button on the top menu in the old version of Webpage Designer.
    • Can I add a marque (Javascript) to the Home Page?
I have researched adding tables and found that I can add them to a Story and as a custom Widget on the homepage. I can't help felling that I have overlooked something.

If you are looking to insert a table on a custom page, I would suggest working with a Custom Widget, and then using the outbound box on that widget to go to the full editor. The Live Designer doesn't let you fully dive into the source code, but custom widgets in their full editing mode do. You should also be able to create a table from the editor's toolbars!

Using a custom widget, and putting your javascript or other code into the source mode, you should be able to!

Please let us know how it goes, and if we can be of further assistance.
