We have 2 members who have somehow "opted out" of emails & we can't find where that is recorded nor can we find how to change that, assuming the member wants that changed.

When trying to send communications (email) to one of those members, we see the image below.

Talking with the member, they want to opt back in, but we can't find how to do that. Please advise! Screenshot 2026-01-09 095317.jpg

    Hi Scott,

    Thank you for reaching out.

This is something that has changed a little under Nova. In the member's profile, if you locate the Communication tab there is an option to modify the member's preferences:

Clicking on this link will take you out to the website and let you update their preferences. This link is also available for the member themselves to manage their own opt-in status.

Let us know how it goes and if you have any feedback about this process, thanks!

From here you'll be able to see which emails they're opted into, and update their preferences.

There are also reports under the Reports Tab under Email and Privacy, where you can get the listing of individuals who are opted into or out of emails quickly.

Thanks - I'm able to see that in my own personal profile, but I can't see that Email Preferences link in the other member's profile. Is that something limited by my own permissions as a club officer? I seem to have the ability to change other info in their profiles, but that just isn't there! Thanks
