ZEFFY for donations?

    In one of the recent NOVA webinars a couple of the participants remarked on the ZEFFY donor management app (Canadian made) that offers to manage donations with $0 cost to the NPO/charity, and that a number of Rotary clubs are now using. I have since been checking into it and yes it appears a number of clubs and districts are now using it. It was suggested during the webinar that its integration to NOVA could be researched - any update in this, any chance of it happening and being an option for Cloud Events/Donations/Dues & Billing?

    Hi Dianne,

    At least as of today Zeffy does not offer any integration with third party services for things like an integration with ClubRunner, or other webhosts/services. We would only be able to offer specific integrations if they are able to expose those sorts of options.

    It should be possible today to setup Cloud Events and link to the Zeffy registration without too much of a problem.

    Dianne - I just wanted to share that I was encouraged, as our Club treasurer, to look at using Zeffy too. When I started looking into how they offered "$0 cost to nonprofit" I found that they fund that by asking payors/donors to pay a 17% "tip." I haven't delved into that any more, but I really didn't think the optics of asking for a "tip" were what we'd want to pass forward to our members/donors, even if they could opt out or change the amount. Just my thoughts! Scott
