Not sure whether this belongs here or in "Feedback and Suggestions", but maybe there is a workaround that people are using...

Here in Australia, Cell phones accept either a leading "0" or a country code in front of the phone number. That is: I can dial +61 xxxxxxxxx or I can dial 0xxxxxxxxx but if I just dial xxxxxxxxx it will not work, and if I dial +61 0 xxxxxxxxx it will not work.
This means that if, for example someone's cell is 0432555555 I can set them up in clubrunner as (Australia Code) 432 555 555 and the clubrunner app will work. BUT then in the district clubs directory, their entry appears as C: 432 555 555 which is not a valid phone number. If I set it so that a valid phone number in the clubs directory, then the clubrunner app is not able to dial them.

This is becoming a real problem because on the one hand, the folks have done such a good job on the clubrunner app that its usage is now skyrocketing, but on the other hand, as fast as I can change profiles so that it works in the clubrunner app, people are seeing an incorrect phone number in their district directory entry and changing it back.

Is there a way that I can set the district clubs directory to insert a country code or a leading "0" in front of the entries?

Thanks John. I knew there was a discussion somewhere. I even tested it back then, and contrary to my memory, dialling using a country code and a leading zero never worked.

So it seems it is clear how numbers need to be entered if they are to work in the Clubrunner app.

This leaves the problem that if you enter a number such that it works in the app dialler, the they display as invalid numbers on the clubs directory, because the clubs directory on the web does not display the country code, or at least I have not worked out how to make the country code display on the website.

This is a problem, because people have the power to edit their own profiles, and when they see their number displayed incorrectly on the website, some of them change it so that it does display correctly, which makes it stop working in the clubrunner app.
